After we had such a bad weekend, my husband and I knew we needed to do something special for the kiddos. We have a habit of just setting out in the car and going. We usually have a destination like Walmart. This day was a little different. (please watch and enjoy this moment with us)
I heard once that households with fish are more peaceful. We have 2 fish but with no doubt……our animals add such life to our house. We miss our feline friend but we are still thankful for all of the other creatures out in the world.

We saw Jellyfish. We talked about how a bag in the water could look like a jellyfish and the importance of cleaned beaches.
We saw the big tank being cleaned and we watched sharks circle swimmers.
We saw seals, learned about the different types, and lots of cool things they can do.
We bought fish to feed to the stingrays.
We bought another helping of fish to feed for the stingrays and fed them more.
Safe to say…….they enjoyed us!
We saw Mighty Mike, the biggest alligator outside of Florida. Our kiddos didn’t size up very well. They were a couple feet short.

We saw the hippos!
We went and saw the seals again!
We looked for turtles everywhere. Somehow, this is the only turtle we saw. We just kept missing them
When the day was over we had learned so much about what this world has to offer. It was a good lesson to learn after we just lost our pet. In the end, we all made memories that will hopefully last a life time! The Adventure Aquarium in Camden was an amazing way to spend the day. We look forward to the 2nd floor reopening and us exploring all over again. (and hopefully seeing some sea turtles next time too)
